HONG KONG, July 17 (Xinhua) -- A 5.9-magnitude earthquake jolted 120km SSE of Lata, Solomon Islands at 07:02:55 GMT on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 59.76 km, was initially determined to be at 11.6936 degrees south latitude and 166.3297 degrees east longitude.
